Golden Turmeric Latte

Ingredients:

1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
1 tsp ground turmeric
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground ginger (or fresh ginger, grated)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp coconut oil (optional, for added creaminess)
1 tsp maple syrup or honey (for sweetness)
A pinch of black pepper (to enhance the absorption of turmeric)
A pinch of ground cardamom or nutmeg (optional, for extra flavor)
How to Make It:
1. Heat the milk: In a small saucepan, gently heat the almond milk over medium heat. You don’t want it to boil, just warm it up.

2. Add spices: Whisk in the ground turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, vanilla extract, coconut oil (if using), and black pepper. If you want extra flavor, add a pinch of cardamom or nutmeg.

3. Sweeten: Stir in the maple syrup or honey to your desired sweetness level.

4. Simmer: Let the mixture simmer for about 3-5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together. Stir occasionally to ensure the spices are fully incorporated.

5. Blend (optional): For a frothier texture, you can blend the latte using a handheld frother or transfer it to a blender for a few seconds.

6. Serve: Pour the golden latte into your favorite mug and enjoy warm. You can sprinkle a little extra cinnamon or turmeric on top for garnish.

Cacao Bliss Balls

Ingredients:

1 cup raw almonds or walnuts
1 cup Medjool dates, pitted
2 tbsp raw cacao powder
1 tbsp coconut oil (optional, for extra smoothness)
1 tbsp chia seeds or flaxseeds (for an extra nutritional boost)
1 tsp vanilla extract
A pinch of sea salt
1/4 cup shredded coconut (optional, for coating)
How to Make It:
1. Process the nuts: Place the raw almonds or walnuts in a food processor. Pulse until the nuts are finely chopped and resemble a crumbly texture.

2. Add dates and other ingredients: Add the pitted dates, raw cacao powder, coconut oil (if using), chia or flaxseeds, vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt to the processor. Blend until everything combines into a sticky dough. If the mixture feels too dry, add a teaspoon of water or coconut oil.

3. Shape into balls: Scoop out small amounts of the mixture (about 1 tablespoon) and roll them between your palms to form small bite-sized balls.

4. Optional – Coat with coconut: If desired, roll the bliss balls in shredded coconut for an extra layer of flavor and texture.

5. Chill: Place the bliss balls in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to firm up. Store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week, or freeze for longer storage.
